Georgia the main loser from EU war report – Reuters

MOSCOW, Sept 30 (Reuters) – The findings of a long-awaited EU report on last year’s Georgia-Russia war are likely to hurt Tbilisi more than Moscow.
Both sides were quick to claim the report justified their own interpretations of the five-day war. Moscow focused on the finding that Georgia began hostilities while Tbilisi preferred the finding that months of provocation preceded the war.
But the phrase most likely to resonate is the comment by Heidi Tagliavini, head of the fact-finding mission, that “it was Georgia which triggered off the war when it attacked …

Gore Vidal: ‘We’ll have a dictatorship soon in the US’ – Times Online

The grand old man of letters Gore Vidal claims America is ‘rotting away’ — and don’t expect Barack Obama to save it.
A conversation with Gore Vidal unfolds at his pace. He answers questions imperiously, occasionally playfully, with a piercing, lethal dryness. He is 83 and in a wheelchair (a result of hypothermia suffered in the war, his left knee is made of titanium). But he can walk (“Of course I can”) and after a recent performance of Mother Courage at London’s National Theatre he stood to deliver an anti-war speech …

Supreme Court Takes Case on Reach of Gun Rights – NY Times

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Supreme Court will decide whether the constitutional right of individuals to own firearms trumps state and local laws, reviving the legal battle over gun rights in America.
The high court said Wednesday it agreed to decide the reach of its landmark ruling last year that the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guaranteed an individual right to own guns and use them for lawful purposes like self-defense in the home.
Gun rights cases have been among the country’s most divisive social, political and legal issues. The Supreme Court …

Montana jail deal raises questions – AP

For those that know about the true, often dark and nefarious, inner-workings of our government,  the below article will come as no surprise to you. For those that are naive to what goes on, this article unintentionally is exposing the black contract portion of our government. The “non-existing”, unconstitutional, covert, and completely opaque deals, contracts, and missions that go on behind closed doors allow our government to conduct despicable operations while having plausible deniability.
BILLINGS, Mont. — The Two Rivers Detention Center was promoted as the largest economic development project in …

There Are Only Two Choices Left on Iran – Wall Street Journal

An Israeli or U.S. military strike now, or a nuclear Tehran soon.

Unless you are a connoisseur of small pictures of bearded, brooding fanatical clerics there is not much reason to collect Iranian currency. But I kept one bill on my desk at the State Department because of its watermark—an atom superimposed on the part of that country that harbors the Natanz nuclear site. Only the terminally innocent should have been surprised to learn that there is at least one other covert site, whose only purpose could be the production of …

US threatens airstrikes in Pakistan – Times Online

The United States is threatening to launch airstrikes on Mullah Omar and the Taliban leadership in the Pakistani city of Quetta as frustration mounts about the ease with which they find sanctuary across the border from Afghanistan.
The threat comes amid growing divisions in Washington about whether to deal with the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan by sending more troops or by reducing them and targeting the terrorists.

SAUDIS WILL LET ISRAEL BOMB IRAN NUCLEAR SITE – Express

INTELLIGENCE chief Sir John Scarlett has been told that Saudi Arabia is ready to allow Israel to bomb Iran’s new nuclear site.
The head of MI6 discussed the issue in London with Mossad chief Meir Dagan and Saudi officials after British intelligence officers helped to uncover the plant, in the side of a mountain near the ancient city of Qom.
The site is seen as a major threat by Tel Aviv and Riyadh. Details of the talks emerged after John Bolton, America’s former UN ambassador, told a meeting of intelligence analysts that …

A Utah attorney claims the FBI edited some security camera videotapes from the morning of the Oklahoma City bombing before releasing the recordings to him.
“Four cameras in four different locations going blank at basically the same time on the morning of April 19, 1995. There ain’t no such thing as a coincidence,” Jesse Trentadue told The Associated Press Sunday.
“The interesting thing is they spring back on after 9:02,” he said. “The absence of footage from these crucial time intervals is evidence that there is something there that the FBI doesn’t …

G20 Abuse Slide Show, Sad Times Are Ahead For America

THERE WERE NO RIOTS, JUST POLICE ATTACKING INNOCENT PEOPLE!
The included slide show displays the widespread tyranny that is being allowed to happen in America today. In the images you will see military LRAD’s (Long Range Acoustic Device) that are capable of shattering ear drums and causing aneurysms (which can kill you). You will see innocent by standers being attacked, children, and kids being attacked. You will see neighborhood patrols and widespread police corruption and abuse. The first amendment did not exist at G20 Pittsburgh this year and Posse Comitatus was …
