US ships arrive in Israel ahead of joint drill – Jerusalem Post

U.S. Israeli war drill, a possible front for the preparation for an attack on Iran? As reported in the Jerusalem Post yesterday, part of the U.S. Naval fleet that will be participating in the war games scheduled for next month have arrived in Israel. “Called Juniper Cobra, the exercise will include the Arrow missile defense system as well as three American systems – the THAAD, Aegis and PAC3 – that will all be deployed in Israel for the duration of the exercise.” This will be the largest exercise of its kind since the United States and Israel began holding such drills in 2001. The exercise in and of itself is not what is disturbing, rather it is the fact that Israeli officials are saying that the U.S. might, “leave some systems in Israel following the drill to bolster Israeli defenses in face of the Iranian threat.” If nothing else, it is global posturing by the two nation-states, but the implications could be greater given the similarities of the current build up to that of the unjust war in Iraq. With Russia giving the green light for the two nation-states, what is standing in their way? After all, Global Security is now reporting that Iran’s first nuclear plant is now “96% complete.” Don’t be surprised if you start hearing about Iran’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction” soon.
